Bollywood movies & Hollywood movies, set to rock the world
There is a famous saying that goes like this - “Movies are the reflection of a society”.This saying completely reflects the current situation of the Indian Film Industry, also known as 'Bollywood'. Approximately 800 movies are produced by the Indian Film Industry, making it the largest film producing nation, leaving behind the likes of Hollywood. Talking about the Indian Film Industry, the fusion of numerous cultures and religion is clearly reflected in the movies produced over here. The industry that over the time span of 50 years has delivered masterpieces like Mehboob's khan 'Mother India', Kaifi Azmi's 'Mughal-e-Azam, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Parinda' and more recently the likes of 'Taare Zameen Par' by Aamir khan and 'MunnaBhai MBBS' & 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' by Rajkumar Hirani clearly proves that today Indian film industry is a reckoning force on the international film circuit. With new blood pouring in and the old stalwarts living up to their names, Bollywood over the past few years has undergone a radical transformation. That's not all, directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali (maker of critically acclaimed 'Black') and Sanjay Gupta (maker of 'Kaante' and 'Zinda') who is also known as the desi 'Quentin Tarantino', are making sure that they experiment with newer subjects and explore new genres. Even the likes of Imtiaz Ali (Jab We Met, Socha Naa tha), Abhishek Kapoor (Rock On!) and not to forget Farhan Akhtar who has the likes 'Dil Chahta Hai', 'Lakshya' and 'Don', has simply proved to be awesome when it comes to film making. As far as comedy movies are concerned, Rohit Shetty, the brain behind the 'Golmaal' and 'Sunday' has redefined the genre of comedy films. When comedy films are being considered, who can afford to overlook the contribution of Priyadarshan to Bollywood, who is rated as one of the finest comedy filmmaker. 'Hera Pheri', 'Garam Masala', 'Bhagam Bhag' and more recently 'Dhol' are some of the incredible examples of his ability to churn out hit comedy blockbusters every time he goes behind the camera. This was just a glimpse of the rich past of the Indian film industry. The bright future is yet to hit the screens in the late 2008. With Aamir Khan's 'Ghajini' and Shahrukh Khan's 'Rab ne bana di jodi (which also marks the return of Aditya Chopra into the main stream commercial cinema after the hiatus of nine years), clash of titans is guaranteed on the silver screen. If that was about the Bollywood movies, then even Hollywood is not far behind. The latest Hollywood movies being 'The Dark Knight' and 'Wanted' doing reasonably well on the International film circuit, Hollywood has retained its position of producing the sizzling blockbusters every time. Not only that things are looking exceedingly promising for Hollywood, with 'Quantum of Solace' (James Bond's 22nd film) set to hit the screens in first week of November, 2008, Hollywood film makers have every reason to smile.
HOW DIAMONDS ARE CUT?
Diamonds when mined are not what we perceive them to be – glittering stones. While in the rough state a diamonds resembles broken piece of glass. To transform it into a beautiful gem it has to be cut and polished. Diamonds are the hardest substance known to occur on earth. So the big curiosity arousing question is “How are they cut”. Most diamond cutters prefer to stick to the primitive methods of cutting because they still are the best ways to handle diamonds. The most ancient technique is Cleaving. Cleaving involves location of the weakest point where the chisel is placed and then using a mallet to tap it. This breaks the stone into manageable gem size to be worked at. If the diamond is hit at the wrong place or in the wrong direction it will shatter and will no longer be of use. After cleaving the diamond was placed in an egg shaped tin cup called a Dop. The diamond was then stroked with another diamond, since only diamonds were hard enough to cut diamonds. The striking helps get rid of the imperfections and defects and attain the desired shape. This is called Bruiting. In the fifteenth century the Scaif was invented which revolutionized the cutting process. The scaif was a polishing wheel that was lubricated with olive oil and diamond dust. The diamond was clamped in a dop with only that side of the diamond being exposed which was being worked at. The diamond protected by the dop was held against the spinning wheel to ground away the diamond to the desired angle. The scaif made possible to polish symmetrically all facets of the diamond in a way to reflect maximum light giving it more brilliance. A relatively recent addition in the diamond cutting techniques is the Diamond Saw. Diamond saws are circular steel blades which are lubricated with oil and diamond dust continually. Special cooling holders are used to cool the diamond as the diamond saws may produce a great deal of heat. The diamond saw became the most popular method of cutting diamonds due to the relative simplicity of the process. It didn’t require locating the weak point of the diamond. The diamond could be worked at from any facet. After the cutting and polishing of the diamond is complete, the lusterless, translucent crystal is transformed into a dazzling, stunning, irresistible gem.

Fast Muscle Gains With This Leg Workout
While most of the training world is preoccupied with how they look in the mirror and how they "appear" to be strong, there are a select few that dare to put function over form. Needless to say if you choose to do your talking on the field (or court) then it is inevitable that your training consist of developing some of the special strengths necessary for developing POWER (and more importantly FORCE). The following article is a small guide into training your lower extremities for ultimate function. But please do not mistake function for so called "functional training." We will not be learning how to do a back flip off a wobble board, landing on a bosu ball in a single leg squat position. After all it would be very uncool if we had 1000lb legs and a ten cent squat! To begin, force is defined as mass multiplied by acceleration. Where mass is roughly the weight you are using and acceleration (also related is deceleration) is in reference to increasing the speed at which we progress through the range of motion. In order to become more forceful we can: 1) Become stronger by increasing the loads we move (absolute strength), and 2) Increase the speeds at which we move the loads (sub maximally and maximally). A live example would be if two athletes (given same height and weight) can squat 500lbs with the difference being that player A completes his lift in 1.5 seconds while it takes player B 3.5 seconds. In this case player A is more forceful because his lift is completed with the same mass but in 2 seconds less time due to poor acceleration. Player A also holds the potential to move sub maximal loads at a faster rate and possibly has left many pounds on the table given he did not have to strain for long. So a true test of player A's absolute strength may not have been validated. What also needs examination is the comparison between each player’s ability to absorb force. This is also known as DECELERATION. This is important to note because if one does not possess the proper abilities to store energy then the delivery or release of energy will be hindered to a signifcant degree. In laymen’s terms we must train 3 main aspects of force in order to develop explosiveness. This does not necessarily mean that we demonstrate explosiveness all of the time, but our intentions are to execute special strength training with maximal efforts. A rough plan would include:1. Increasing absolute strength through executing maximal attempts with 85%+ loads. 2. Maximally accelerating every sub-maximal load and releasing the load if the weight is between 30-50%.3. Maximally decelerating loads through the use of lowering overloads very slowly, abruptly stopping sub maximal loads at given points, and landing from depths concentrating on stopping quickly. With these aspects in mind one can develop a proper explosive leg training protocol. The protocol options are limitless and only bound by the limits of your imagination. The exact programming will vary from person to person depending on their specific goals, but if you use the basics as a cornerstone and expand upon their use from there then you will have legs that not only look good, but perform as well.
Shhhh....Secret of E-books
Electronic books, or e-books, are one of the quickest ways to make you an infopreneur, or someone who makes money by selling information. As a service business owner, it's also a simple way to sell the information that you have spent countless hours amassing to all of those who want to buy what you know but who cannot afford to hire you as a service provider. The most effective way to market your e-book is via a one-page website. If you already have a website, I recommend that you set up a separate stand-alone page for this e-book. Most domain registrars will permit you to forward and mask your product domain to an internal page of your current website. If you don't have a site, you can create a one-page site with its own hosting. Here's what you need to know to successfully market your e-book via a one-page website:1. An identifiable target market. E-books work best as a product for a very specific niche market, like an e-book on how to teach your dog tricks, how to effectively meditate to relieve stress, or how to find a green career. You need to be able to identify and describe your target market, from determining what the target market needs and what they'll pay for (as well as how much they will pay) to what publications they read, what groups/associations do they belong to, and where they hang out both on- and offline. Make sure you understand what your target market needs and how to reach them before proceeding to the next step.2. A domain name. The domain name for your e-book site should mirror or closely resemble your product name or a prominent feature of your product. 3. A give-away. You have two goals for your e-book site: get the contact info from your visitors and convert them into paying customers. Because not everyone will buy your primary product (thus providing you with their contact information), you need another strategy to collect your prospect's information. 4. A merchant account. In order to collect payments, you need to be able to take credit card payments online and provide electronic product delivery. Your merchant account company needs to offer a "virtual terminal", which lets you enter and process transactions online and interfaces with your shopping cart program. The most commonly used virtual terminal is that provided by Authorize.net. If you don't want to invest in a merchant account, you can begin by using third-party processors like PayPal or Click Bank, but they offer less flexibility than a full merchant service.6. Shopping cart software. Ultimately, your shopping cart software will be a workhorse for you and enable you to automate many functions of your online business. 7. Sales letter page. This is the primary sales page of your e-book website, containing a long sales letter with benefits of your product and testimonials of others who've used the product. E-books are one of the quickest and inexpensive ways to help you establish your expertise and create another source of income for your business. Follow this simple e-book marketing plan and begin selling your information today!
